My favorite time of the year, is when this exquisite distillation of Friuli terroir that is Giovanni Dri's extra virgin olive oil - from a tiny plantation in Adorgnano.

Winemaker olive oil remains one of life's great joys for me, and this is about as good as they come - cloudy and raw, grassy and rich: pour this on everything.
