From a tiny vineyard under one hectare with a total annual production of 5000 bottles comes incredibly pure, pristine wines from meticulously farmed biodynamic vines planted in the 60s and 70s.
Nicole & Daniel Schrammel saved these vines from being ripped up in 2015 and now make some of the most humbly thrilling wines in the region.
This is 70% Roesler, a hybrid varietal and 30% Merlot. Fermented in open-vats and made of free-run juice only, it's dark color from the Roesler grapes and unfiltered goodness belies it's light juice and energy.
