From a tiny 1.5 ha farm in Nagano Japan, Domaine Nakajima makes very special and precise wines, here a sparkling rose assembled from a bevy of hybrid grapes.

These are special and visionary wines, available for the first time in California.

"Domaine Nakajima’s Petillant Rose uses kyoho grapes grown in Tomi from neighbor’s farms. The grapes were dried and rotten fruit removed by hand. Crushed and pressed manually. Room temperature spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts over a 10 day period. Bottled and fermentation completed in the bottle. No fining, filtering or additives (zero / zero)."
