
From a tiny 1.5 ha farm in Nagano Japan, Domaine Nakajima makes very special and precise wines. This is from his estate-grown fruit, no sprays, no fertilizers, hand-harvested via hand carved utensils.
These are special and visionary wines, available for the first time in California.
"Hand-destemmed and fermented with native yeasts. It undergoes a 2.5-week fermentation in a resin tank filled with CO2, followed by pressing in a hydraulic basket press. The wine is then aged for 10 months in used 225-liter oak barrels. It is unfined and unfiltered."
