"Rue de la Peste is a light and fruity co-ferment of red and white grapes that captures the spirit of the Mediterranean so much better than the heavier, high alcohol wines for which the Languedoc is better known. This light-bodied, peppery wine has good structure but does not dominate food, due to winemaker Julie Brosselin’s light touch in the winery. Unfined, unfiltered, with no added sulfur."
