"Another first for Šuman. "Romanian Muscat" is believed to be a variety of Greek origin, brought to the Balkans by Romanian traders, from whom it earned its name. Šuman's version is quite ripe but dry and features 10 months of maceration, giving it enough weight to stand up to a ribeye. To me, the aromatic profile is far more floral than the "small grain" or "Alexandrian" muscats of the Western Mediterranean. Bottled in Glass."
