"Damien Bureau is an icon of the Loire Valley's natural wine scene, and a former colleague of Sebastien Babass. He began making wine in 2006 after Babass from Les Griottes leased a parcel to him to work on. Before that he had been working for different domaines, including in Burgundy. He rented his first parcel of Chenin in 2008, making  sparkling wine, and in 2010, he bought a 70-are parcel of old vines with Pineau d'Aunis and Chenin Blanc that was previously owned by les Griottes. Today, He works 3 hectares of vines around Champ-sur-Layon in Anjou, Loire Valley."
