" 100% Chardonnay. Vineyard located on the hills above Tournus. This 36-are plot has seen several planting seasons; some vines are 80 years old, while the rest are approximately 10, 20, and 40 years old. The soil is about 30 centimeters deep with large limestone slabs beneath. Unlike the "Terres Noires" vineyard , this plot is the earliest ripening. Direct pressing, aging in oak barrels for one year, then an additional six months in stainless steel tanks. Bottled in April 2024. Very intense citrus aromas. Powerful and full-bodied on the palate with a beautiful balance between richness and acidity. Superb!"
