"Ribolla Gialla by Franco Terpin has a deep golden color, with amber streaks. The nose immediately recalls the sea breezes, the scent of rock, chestnut honey and hay, aromatic herbs and dried apricot. At the sip it has substance, salt, freshness and depth.
Spontaneous fermentation in Slovenian oak vats & Stainless steel, with maceration on the skins. It then matures in Slovenian oak barrels for 12 months, followed by an aging in steel for another twelve and then 4 years in the bottle. Franco Terpin's wines do not undergo any filtration or forced stabilization, so it is easy to find sediments on the bottom."
