"The Gamay grows on clay, flint and silex soils near Christophe's cellar in Couffy. He macerates the fruit whole bunch for about two weeks before pressing and ageing in tank. 2022 is a remarkable vintage, boasting ripe, expressive fruit, with an impossibly elegant tannic structure and real depth. A real pleasure to drink now, will also be interesting to stick a bottle away for a few years. As always, it represents remarkable value for money."
