The wine that started it all for me.
"It" being my love affair with the elegant and energized micro production wines of Pinard et Filles.
This is a slppery, balanced and fruit forward wonder that really showed the power of domestic wines.
"Natural, whole-bunch (semi-carbonic) fermentation. Two-week “infusion” without punchdowns or pumpovers. Six months of aging and malolactic fermentation in stainless tanks. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, without any added sulphur. Fruit, substance and freshness in line with the style of the house."
