From a tiny vineyard under one hectare with a total annual production of 5000 bottles comes incredibly pure, pristine wines from meticulously farmed biodynamic vines planted in the 60s and 70s.
Nicole & Daniel Schrammel saved these vines from being ripped up in 2015 and now make some of the most humbly thrilling wines in the region.
"Daniel on this wine: "Through the thoughtful combination of white and red grapes, the wine unfolds a fascinating variety of aromas. A dance of lively freshness and expressive character in a harmonious balance.”
Grapes are hand-harvested and processed by individual varietals. A very limited quantity is made, as the winery sticks to a “one barrel” concept, capping their production at 1000 litres. As its name suggests, the wine follows zero-zero winemaking philosophies — nothing added, nothing taken away. Unfined, unfiltered, no added SO2.
Personality: explosively fruity, nuanced, elegant and easy to drink (only 10.5% ABV)."
